Die erfolgreiche Teilnahme am didaktischen Sprachkurs "Teaching in English" wird durch das ZLF zertifiziert. Für die Veranstaltung gibt es folgende Verbuchungsmöglichkeiten: - Vertiefungsmodul: Exemplarisches Themenfeld aus der englischen Fachdidaktik - Freier Bereich - Englisch Sprachpraxis II: Konversation (in diesem Fall wird die Teaching Practice benotet) Die Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung ohne Zertifizierungswunsch ist ohne Probleme möglich.

Kommentar/Beschreibung

This course is for academics, teachers and trainee teachers using English as language of instruction. It aims to clarify and strengthen the key vocabulary and competences required for teaching in English in an international context. Further, it aims to enable critical engagement in current international educational debate in English. Key areas will include:
Everyday classroom English
Classroom management
Concepts of Teaching and Learning
Differentiation practices in inclusive classroom settings
Formative & summative assessment
Skills: cooperation / evaluation / problem solving / self-assessment / critical thinking
Participants will have the opportunity to share their teaching needs in the form of a ‘teaching project’: the presentation of a three-part lesson plan & a micro teaching sequence. Each teaching project will be discussed and peer reviewed.
