Comment/Description

General introduction to classic and agile project management with a special focus on software projects.
(1) Knowledge: The participants know all steps and activities to successfully carry out a software project as a project manager.
(2) Skills: Participants will be able to apply the most important steps of project planning for a given software project: Project objectives, stakeholder analysis, phase planning, project structuring, scheduling and sequencing as well as resource planning. In project controlling, they master techniques to determine the current project progress and possible risks and can apply suitable measures if necessary.
(3) Competencies: Participants will be able to understand and evaluate all measures involved in the planning and implementation of software projects as part of project management.
