Portfolio: 40 points for policy briefs; 60 points for the final exam (60 minutes); participants can submit 5 policy briefs (300 words) where they apply the concepts from the lecture to their assigned country. From these 5, the best 4 are relevant, each yielding a maximum of 10 points. |

| Qualifikationsziele |
Students are enabled to critically understand the consequences of the international financial architecture. They observe the consequences of capital mobility and its limitations. They can make forecasts on interest rates, exchange rates and the business cycle. This allows them to critically asses economic policies and to infer optimal decisions on international financial investments. |
