Hallo Marcus,

ich war in deinem Tutorium zu IME und hätte noch eine Frage zu dem Problem 2.1.

Und zwar hatten wir beim Herrn Lambsdorff das Orderbook immer so angesehen, dass wir links unten die sell-order mit der buy-order rechts oben gematcht haben. Und da würde ich dann auf andere Ergebnisse als im Tutorium kommen. Ich sende dir im Anhang mal ein Bild mit meinen und deinen Ergebnissen.

Vielleicht kannst du mir weiterhelfen.

Hallo,
you are completely right. That was my mistake in Problem 2.1. You have to re-order sells as they are the supply and they start from downwards as in a supply-demand diagram.
In 2.1a it means that you have only 2 trades. The demander with 10 and 8.8 can trade with the supplier for 7.5 and 8.8. This is also shown in the diagram below.
In 2.1b you get a total of 5 trades.
