• identify the most important players and instruments in the area of sustainable and green finance and evaluate them
• analyse relevant regulatory frameworks
• value sustainability risks and opportunities for companies and investors
• explain financial instruments such as green bonds, sustainability-linked bonds and ESG investment strategies and critically question them
• understand the role of banks, institutional investors and companies in the transformation to a sustainable economy
• apply empirical methods to analyse sustainable financial investments
