Qualifikationsziele
Studierende erlangen ein grundlegendes Verständnis, welche Non-Financial Risks (Climate und ESG) von Unternehmen im Zusammenhang mit deren nachhaltigen, fairen sowie transparenten Verhalten quantifiziert werden können und wie diese Risiken auf Finanzmärkten war genommen werden.

• How do financial markets include concerns of climate emissions and the broader considerations to environmental, social and corporate governance behavior.
• Identification and quantification of different metrics used for the “greenness” of companies.
• Concerns about ESG assessments of companies.
• The relation of climate change concerns and stock market price developments on portfolio levels.
• Financial Hedging against climate change risks.

Students gain a basic understanding of how non-financial risks of companies can be quantified in connection with their sustainable, fair and transparent behavior. Students develop the competence to understand the difficulties how to quantify these risks. Students know about the channels how climate change and ESG risks can impact financial markets.
