The seminar is associated with the brown bag seminar Accounting, Finance and Taxation. A kick-off meeting with an introduction on how to discuss a paper will be given during the semester break.
Leistungsnachweis
Doctoral students attend the brown bag seminar Accounting, Finance and Taxation and participate actively in the discussion. In adition, each student prepares and presents a discussion of one of the guest papers. Further, students could present their own research in the brown bag seminar (optionally).

Qualifikationsziele
Doctoral students get insights into recent developments in accounting, finance, and taxation. They learn and practice how to discuss a paper. Further, they can receive inspirations for their own research by learning about the design, methods, and open questions in current research.
Workload
1 SWS (15 h attendance and 45 h own work)
Sonstiges
The kick-off meeting with an introduction on how to discuss a paper is on April 5th, 2022 (2:30 pm). The dates for the brown bag guests will be communicated as soon as the dates are fixed. The discussion of the guest paper is planned for the week before the guest presentation.
