Content:
The training introduces participants to the fundamentals of international project management. They explore what defines a project, what makes international collaboration unique, and which skills are essential for success. Using the example of “Our Project with BTG,” participants learn how to gather initial information, understand client context, and ask the right early questions. They experience how to run an effective international kick off and how to align a diverse team around shared goals. The program examines clear project objectives and the cultural influences that shape communication. Participants also learn how to plan personnel deployment and navigate cultural challenges. Throughout the training, they reflect on values, communication styles, and differing perceptions across cultures. They practice stakeholder analysis, build cultural awareness, and use tools to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks. Finally, they learn how to close a project professionally by handing over deliverables and documentation. Overall, the training equips participants with practical tools, intercultural competence, and a people focused mindset for managing international projects successfully.
